I am Tamar, a Web designer with a twist.
For the past 7 years, I’ve worked in numerous architecture studios in the Netherlands, Georgia, and the Czech Republic as an architect and designer, while on the side taking design projects (including architecture, interior, and (cough) web design).
MY WHY
We, architects, have never been trained to run the business.
Everything is supposed to 'kinda' happen by itself. And for years that's exactly what was happening in my life.
I was happy to work in an architecture studio daily and take projects on the side to work on weekends or evenings.
The projects were random; every time I had a new project, I started from scratch. There was no pattern and no systems.
I realized I was missing something. That's when I started learning about business, the importance of clear messaging, storytelling, and the power of niching down.
While learning all these to implement the knowledge in my architecture business, I realized something else: I wanted to have an impact bigger than just my architecture design practice.
Seeing architects around me struggling and knowing where they were getting it wrong gave me the confidence and courage to package my knowledge and offer it to them as a service.
My goal is to give you the same confidence in your business, so you can start to see what is possible!
